“Amelia” at the Library
2:00 – 4:00 p.m. • Atchison Library • 401 Kansas Ave.

A program featuring Amelia Earhart as portrayed by historian Ann Birney.

LakeFest 2013
7:00 p.m. •  Warnock Lake

Amelia Earhart Birthplace Museum Open House
10:00 a.m. • 223 North Terrace

Tour the historic home where Amelia Earhart was born and view recent changes and acquisitions.
$4 for adults and $1 per child.

Historical Church Service
10:00 a.m.

Trinity Episcopal Church will host an early 1900s style service at Amelia’s former church. 300 S. 5th St.

Speakers’ Symposium

Panel discussion featuring women who share Amelia’s spirit.

Trinity Episcopal Church Tours
Noon-4:00 p.m. • Trinity Episcopal Church • 300 S. 5th St.

Tour one of the most historic structures in Atchison and our oldest church. Amelia Earhart was baptized in this beautiful place of worship. In fact, the same baptismal font is still in use today. Donations accepted. Refreshments available for purchase.

Pioneering Achievement Award Luncheon
12:30 p.m. • Benedictine College • 1020 N. 2nd

Trailer Smash at Atchison County Raceway

Event for the whole family. Just north of the city limits on 2nd St. Gates open at 11.

Riverfront Festivities
4:00 p.m. • Missouri Riverfront

Join us at the beautiful Atchison Riverfront, where you’ll find food and beverage vendors, musical entertainment and awe-inspiring aerobatics in a picturesque setting. Inflatable fun in several varieties will be available. Handicap parking and shuttle service available. For more information, call 800-234-1854. Aerobatic Performances
7:55 p.m. • Atchison Riverfront

You’ll be dazzled by these high-flying performances by aviators for whom Amelia Earhart blazed the trail, and awed by beautiful setting on the banks of the Missouri River.

“Concert in the Sky” Fireworks Finalé
9:45 p.m. 

One of the Midwest’s most dazzling fireworks shows, orchestrated to music by Paul Austin of Stellar Fireworks, Inc., Wichita., at the Beautiful Atchison Riverfront.
