The Atchison Area Chamber of Commerce with it’s three pillars of chamber, tourism and Main Street had an unprecedented year. We are so very proud of our chamber team, volunteers, members, sponsors and the many businesses that made 2021 such a turning point for us. 2022 promises to be a great year with new ideas coming to life.
In 2021 we saw our local taxes grow, our reach and engagement of people outside the community increased and the attraction of visitors to experience our haunted season grow exponentially. We also became a Kansas Main Street which is a huge accomplishment.
This annual report will feature some of the highlights from this year and share some plans for 2022. We continue to be filled with optimism for the future of Atchison and a Return 2 Better!
