Let’s keep Atchison clean!

Join the Chamber from 8:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 13 for the annual Spring Clean-Up.    

Join the Chamber from 8:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 8 for the annual Fall Clean-Up. In addition to picking up trash in public places and providing pick-up service at local residences, we will also offer a number of recycling opportunities. If you have any questions, would like to volunteer or need to schedule a pick-up, just give us a call at 913-367-2427.

Pick-Up Service

Call 913-367-2427 to schedule a pick-up service at your residence. Items must be curbside or in the alley by 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8.

Items available for pick-up:

Metal
Appliances
Air Conditioners
Batteries
Yard waste (must be bundled, 5-foot maximum length)
Wood

Gasoline Alley Drop

Located across from the Santa Fe Depot, 200 S. 10th St.

Acceptable items:

Computer Equipment
Televisions
Electronics
*Items don’t have to be working, but they must be in one piece

Recycling Opportunities

We will have volunteers available to help you unload your items at the Recycling Center, located at 2505 W. US Hwy 73
