A girl finds bloody vengeance in terrorizing every man who resides in the doctor's house where she died during a failed surgery. A teen's voice continues to echo into the night after she jumps to her death when her lover breaks off their relationship. These are the kinds of tales that make the historically charming town of Atchison legendary in haunting. In 1997, author Lisa Hefner Heitz exposed Atchison as the most haunted town in Kansas in her book, "Haunted Kansas." The Travel Channel continues to air its documentary "Haunted Town," a program dedicated entirely to Atchison's chilling stories. Since 1995, families from across the nation have come to Haunted Atchison Tours, a one-hour narrated ride aboard the Atchison Trolley or RiverCity Coach to see the sites and hear about the mysteries.

Fall Tour Schedule

Don't miss your chance to take the famous Haunted Atchison Tour! This year's tour is new and improved, so if you've done it before, you might consider trying it again, along with some of our other new events for 2011.

In the fall, you have your choice of transportation, the old-fashioned Atchison Trolley with classic wooden bench seating, or the stylish RiverCity Coach, which features plush bucket seating. Our trolley is handicap accessible. If you need handicap access or are in a wheelchair, please call us at 913-367-2427 or email us to make arrangements.

Summer Tour Schedule

Once again, we will offer Haunted Atchison Trolley Tours once a month this summer, just to keep you satisfied until the fall! And we've got a new offering this summer, with four special events, including trolley tours, on Friday, May 13th! Tickets are just $13 and you can order them online. Check-in for those who printed their own tickets and the Will Call are both located at the Santa Fe Depot, 200 S. 10th St. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tour to check in and receive your souvenir boarding pass! Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions at all.
