Take a short drive through Atchison and it won't take long for you to realize this thriving river town is blessed with an amazing number of magnificent homes. Gaze down the beautiful, tree-lined, brick streets and it's no shock that Atchison was once home to more millionaires per capital than any community in the United States.
There is, however, another feature to these homes in addition to their architectural beauty — their otherworldly inhabitants. For decades, Atchison home owners have told stories of strange happenings in their residences. And, lucky for us, many of them are happy to share those tales with those who appreciate them.
One of the most unique and enduring of Haunted Atchison experiences, Private Home Visits, give visitors a chance to tour these beautiful homes and hear stories of ghostly occurrences with the residents themselves — the human residents, that is!
Please note, tickets cannot be purchased at the homes. Visitors must purchase tickets at the Santa Fe Depot. We can help with directions or anything else while you're here! No food or drink in the homes please.

Berry Home
This extremely active home is open for tours three times during the summer of 2011. The home owners have kept precise records of the occurences, are very knowledgeable about the paranormal and are open to visitors questions. The house has been investigated several times.
