For more than a decade, paranormal enthusiasts, brave travelers and those who like otherworldly diversions have been flocking to Atchison, intent on exploring its rich haunted history. It began with the now famous Haunted Atchison Tours, a guide tour aboard the historic Atchison Trolley. Since then, we've added more and more offerings. These tours, programs and events have something for everyone, from the informational History/Mystery Walking Tour and the festive Ghostly Dining Experience to a night of ghost hunting with On-Site Investigations, Atchison has a little bit of everything. And this year we've got many new events in store.
With the help of three respected psychic professionals, we are offering several gallery-style readings, tombstone rubbing events and an Enchanted Tea Party at the infamous Berry Home. Try them all!
Unlike many collections of haunted tours and events, Atchison's haunted history didn't just pop up all of a sudden when the trolley started passing by the sites 15 years ago. The stories and locations explored in Atchison have been collected over decades, some stories are even a century old. The stories have been told since Atchison was a bustling transportation hub and launching point for westward migration in the late 1800s, and later a pioneering railroad town. That's when many of our stately homes were built. The bizarre occurences in these majestic dwellings continue to happen today and paranormal investigators still hold Atchison sort of a Holy Grail of ghostly happenings.
This site is your guide to an entire season of eerie excitement and, for some, spiritual awakening. A limited schedule of events is offered each summer, then reaches a climax during September and October, when we offer more than 200 tours and special events. Gatherings
This new event, hosted by medium Keli Adams, will help connect you with a deceased loved on, pet or event. You must bring a photo (can be an individual or group photo) or simply write down on a piece of paper one name of someone with whom you would like to connect.
Events will take place at either the Muchnic Art Gallery or the Cray Historical Home Museum, two of Atchison's most iconic and stately structures.
Start the Haunted Atchison season with this exciting event. Keli will be in town for the event on Saturday, Sept. 22 and Saturday, Sept. 29. Traci Bray
Traci Bray was born and raised in Clinton, Iowa. Early childhood memories revealed a definite sense that the soul continues to live beyond the physical death, as persons not living unveiled themselves to her. Although recognition of life beyond a physical existence was real for Traci, it wasn’t until the mid-1990's that she began offering public readings at the urging of friends. Via word-of-mouth, accolades of her skills widened her following to national proportions. Her clientele has expanded to all continents save the poles!
Traci is heavily involved with the events of Haunted Atchison. In 2012, she will work several activities, including Supper with the Spirits, Munch with a Medium, Gallery Readings, Flight with the Spirits and Private Readings.

Keli Adams
For over 30 years, Keli has used her uncanny gifts as a psychic, medium (connecting with departed loved ones and pets,) paranormal researcher (ghost hunter), and author of several books, to reach, teach and help people find their own "truth." Click on any of the above pages for more information about some pretty neat "stuff."
She has been a flight attendant since 1986 and claims that the job is very "grounding" for her. (Go figure). Keli believes passionately that each one of us can help ourselves and others to change and "rebalance" even at a distance. Keli's desire (as a psychic and a medium) is to show you that you don't need a psychic or a medium to find "guidance" or to connect with departed loved ones.
This is Keli's first season working with Haunted Atchison, though she has visited Atchison several times for special events. She will be involved with presenting several events this year, including Gatherings, Supper with the Spirits, Tombstone Rubbings and Paranormal Investigations.
